Carat: Unit of weight = grains = ⅓ tomin = 1/144 ounce (old).
In Spain the following system is registered:
1 frame = 8 ounces
1 ounce = 16 adarmes
1 adarme = 9 carats
1 carat = 4 grains
The carat = 205.4 mg.
The International Bureau of Weights and Measures has designated the metric carat a weight of 200 mg, it is understood as a unit of weight for precious stones, that is, 1 metric carat = 0.2 g.
For diamonds, their weight is usually expressed in points, 100 points = 1 carat.

In Argentina = 4 arrobas = 100 pounds = 45.9367 kg.
In Spain = 4 arrobas = 100 pounds = 46.0093 kg.
